More Affordable Justice?? Court Fees for Lodging Licensing Appeals greatly reduced

On the 25^th July 2018,  The Court of Protection, Civil Proceedings and Magistrates Courts Fees ( Amendment ) Order 2018 came into force.

This has now greatly reduced the fees payable to the Court for lodging a Licensing Appeal.  Previously the fee was £410.00, but as a result of the change in the Law, it now stands at £70.00.

Overall the order has amended court fees in a number of areas of law, in the hope that access to justice is not restricted by financial limits.
